Just before you pack your bags for the new school term – come down to the Bandstand for a whole day of Final Fling fun! Grab your snacks, come dressed for our ever changing weather and join in the fun before heads down, thumbs up for school.

10.30am: Children’s Classic Concerts present The Big Bang!
Find you inner groove and have fun learning rhythms from round the world with Jane and Jemma. Suitable for children aged 4- 11 and their parents and carers.
11.45am: Badgical Magical!
Badger the Mystical Mutt is a toast-crunching, spell-bungling, larger than life character who accompanies authors McNicol & Jackson everywhere.He’s pretty rubbish at magic, does lots of tail wagging and likes to shake his shimmy, especially with maraccas! Wee folk and big folk alike love his mischief and his stories.
From a series of illustrated children’s books for 5 – 9 year olds, Badger will be at the Bandstand to talk about his life on the lane and in the crystal cave and to answer questions – every question asked receives a badgical magical sticker!
1pm: The Stand Kids Comedy Club
Come and join in the laughs with this very special stand-up show especially for younger comedy fans. Top compere Bruce Devlin (‘uproariously funny’ List) introduces comedy magician Steven Dick (‘original and entertaining’ Evening News) and the brilliant Viv Gee (‘Simply a genius’ Scotland on Sunday). Best suited for ages 8 – 12, children must be accompanied.
2pm: Turner Prize pop up visual art workshop
As the Turner Prize, Britain’s most prestigious visual art prize comes to Glasgow and Scotland for the first time at Tramway this Autumn. Get involved by taking part in this special visual art workshop.
