Pollok Stables secures Levelling Up Fund award!

Glasgow City Council has secured funding from the UK Government’s Levelling Up Fund for the restoration and redevelopment of Pollok Stables!

We congratulate GCC officers on pulling together the successful bid which will see just over £13m invested into the project to save the Category A Listed Building at Risk.

We are delighted that the work undertaken by Glasgow Building Preservation Trust and partners back in 2017/18 helped shape the successful bid and we again thank the funders for their essential support at the time – National Lottery Heritage Fund, Architectural Heritage Fund and Glasgow City Council.

This wonderful news highlights the key role which GBPT plays in the ongoing regeneration of the city. Not every feasibility study results in a deliverable project, but every deliverable project needs to have demonstrated it’s need, viability and benefit.  We’ve nearly 40 years of experience in developing award winning heritage projects and we use that experience to help set projects on the right pathway at feasibility stage.  If you want to support the work of the Trust in its efforts, please consider becoming a member .
